Nope! Not with Omar. Not yet! I hope!

It's with my hubby's savior - my in-laws, with papa who gave me a rose and mama who gave us a heart-shaped chocolate cake. As if it wasn't enough, we had a Valentine dinner at their home.

We had ministreno, thai salad - I so love this I took home the left-over sauce, pasta - so yummy! with clams, capers, olives, anchovies!, roast chicken - oh the gravy! You're gonna love it too!, watermelon, ice cream and cake for dessert!

Noel-Lyra

It was Lyra's D-Day!

Noel and Lyra's wedding was celebrated at The Coconut Palace. The rites started at 5pm, though Omar and I were late.
Vicky, Efren, Jusy and Nick also came to witness the celebration. We were seated at Table No. 1. Yipee! We were able to eat ahead for we were hungry already. We were served sumptuous dinner from Josiah's Catering. They had mongolian and tempura tables too, aside from the dessert table.

Omar and I were even called to join the game for the couples. They had fireworks too. I also got to meet a blogger mom, Jody, who coordinated the event.

We did not finish the program anymore since our baby was still waiting for us at Bulacan.

Congratulations Noel and Best Wishes Lyra! Looking forward to your mini Noels and mini Lyras.

Happy Birthday Kuya!

It's Valentine's Day and it's Kuya's birthday!

We had dinner at Superbowl at Gateway. We had a food fest! Summer loved the prawn crackers. We brought chocolates for dessert. After dinner, Mommy and Daddy watched Connie Francis at the Araneta Coliseium while we walked around. Omar bought jersey. He plays basketball with his friends every Tuesday. I bought a pair of black shoes.

Omar and Daddy sure saved a lot celebrating Kuya's birhtday over Valentine's day. No complains =).

Awwww....

Papa is so sweet and thoughtful!

I went home and saw a flower in our room. I thought it was Omar's surprise for me. Then, it was from Papa! It was my third Valentine rose from Papa within 4years of marriage with his son. I just find it so sweet. Then, when I opened our ref, there's a heart-shaped big brownie from Mama and Papa! More of like a chocolate cake!

I must have done something really good to be blessed with loving in-laws.

A glimpse of Summer

We met Omar's tita who is based at Toronto and usually spend 4months in a year here in the Philippines. They usually stay at Bicol, that's why it was my first to see her.

Tita Ching and Uncle Peter talks a lot, not in a bad way ha. You learn a lot from them. I learned from Tita Ching to just laugh it off if things didn't go your way, far better than carrying a burden when you cannot do anything about it. I learned from Uncle Peter to cut your meal serving in half or never take a second round if you're trying to lose weight.

Seeing Tita Ching is like seeing Summer when she grows up. They have so much in common. According to Tita, she grew up one of the boys and not much into girly things. She's a picky eater. And a papa's girl! Summer na Summer. And as I've mentioned, talks a lot.

We brought them to Cabalen for dinner but instead of us treating them, they treated us. Kakahiya. Thanks for the dinner! And it was nice finally meeting you!
Oh! The ginataang kuhol is for you, Ninang Jenny!

My surprise.

I surprised Omar with my very late anniversary gift for him.

I gave him a silver ipod nano with video with 8gb memory. He'd been wanting to have one for his corolla and our CRV is now equipped with ipod ready stereo.

Thanks to Ate Rona for buying it for me from HongKong. I saved a lot.

I placed it on the dresser where he usually puts his cellphone and car keys. He saw it in the morning. He asked me what it was and I said it was a late gift.

He was so happy when he opened the gift. He was so surprised what the ipod was doing in our room since it is for rich people only. He said sorry for not getting me anything. He was so thankful and happy. He was even worried that we do not have enough money. I just told him it's okay, it's my gift for him and I got it from my Zagu money.

I think it was the best gift he got from me, looking at his reaction.

Now, we just have to figure out how to install music in his ipod.
