Italian night

Theme fir the night was Italian.

Mom made barley soup.
Kuya bought pizza.
Nin, even if she's not around, bought tiramisu.
I made spaghetti vongole! Oha!

Japanese night.

Theme for dinner was Japanese.

Mommy made sukiyaki, tempura and ordered sushi.
Kuya brought sashimi.
Nin made kani salad.
Omar made Japanese fried rice.

It was raining so they cannot swim.

We had dinner at Vikings for Daddy's birthday with Tita Cora and Tito Nesty. It was all our first time. Summer had chicken lollipops and pizza. Winter had chicken feet. Onar and I had almost everything 😃

Happy birthday summer!

Summer is 7 and we did not have a party. I'm blessed with a very understanding baby.

Instead, we went to Manila Ocean Park, had lunch at Gerrys Grill, watched Lorax, and had dinner with the family at Shakeys.

It was the best birthday ever! Thank you Summer, you're as bright as sun at home shining with cheerfulness and so full of life. We love you baby!

Summer's 7!

We just moved in to our new home 2 months ago and we did not have enough funds for a party.

Omar and I are blessed to have Summer. Even after attending bonggacious birthday parties of her cousins and friends for their 7th year, she understood that we cannot spend for a party for her birthday. But we made sure to make her birthday extra special.

We went to Manila Ocean Park.
We saw the Oceanarium, watched the sea lion show, had the fish spa and took the glass bottom ride.

We then had lunch at Gerry's Grill and ordered chicken skin for her. She loved it! It was her favorite.

We watched Lorax and they liked it too. This is the part when I heard her say that it was the best birthday ever!

Went to Magallanes Church to say thanks to Him!

Had her birthday dinner at Shakeys Magallanes with the family.

Happy birthday Summer! You will always be our baby girl.

Another day at home, better make use of the chance to use the oven again.

Mommy gave us giant eggplants from Baguio.
Searched for a recipe.
Bought ingredients.

Voila! Eggplant parmigiana! Another success!

Winter is moving up.

After months of crying going to school - from June to January, Winter is finally moving up to the next level.

Theme was Hawaiian and they danced to the tube of Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride. He danced. He was in front. He was the smallest, not necessarily the youngest.

He got The Little Engine Could Award.

Mommy gave us giant eggplants from Baguio.
I was able to spend time at home.
Went to the grocery and bought ingredients.
Made eggplant parmigiana.
The kids did not eat it.
Nin liked it!

Moving up day

It's hawaiian theme for Playschool's moving up day.

Winter danced hawaiian rollercoaster ride. He's the smallest. So easy to find. Right in front of you. That doesn't mean he's the youngest hehehe.

He got The Little Engine that could award - he finished the school year even if he was crying at school until January.

Kuya brought wrapped pork in lettuce.
Nin brought 2 kinds of kimchi.

Swim time with Mommy D

It is just sooo hot and the kids are getting bored at home, without TV in our room. They kept on bugging me if they can swim.

Mommy D accompanied them and they swam in Daddy's new pool!
