Winter's 1st step at Baguio.

Yes, the little boy has been to Batanes, been to Canada, Florida and California, but it's his first at Baguio.

Summer was the most excited and the happiest among the family. She got her cousins from both sides to play with. My family and Omar's family went to Baguio right after the holidays for a short vacation.

We spent our second day going around, having our picture taken. Here's a photo taken at home.
And a stop at Camp John Hay for family pics.
Omar's family brought family pictures 20 and 10years ago and have to do their third version this year. Same venue, same position, same people, different years. Galing!

I just love Baguio. Bitin.

Christmas Eve, hubby's side.

After opening of gifts at my Mom's place, we have to go to Omar's place for late dinner and exchange gifts.

What's nice with a big family is you get lots of gifts too hehehe. Look at the gifts eating up almost half of the space of the living room.

Even if sleepy, kids did not have tantrums since they were too excited for the gifts. They got another batch of toys again.
Oh and I surprised hubby with my gift too with the help of Kuya Olejoe. I love giving him surprises.

Christmas Eve, my side.

After 2years, it's time to celebrate the holidays in the Philippines again. Schedule is terribly a riot.

Omar, I and the kids spent the morning in the mall for some last minute Christmas shopping - my Christmas dress =).

It's early dinner at Mommy Duning's house. Our share is the potato leak soup but since we went shopping, Omar asked Nenita to prepare it for him. Omar's assigned to marinate the ribs and steak too.

Ate Bing prepared mash potato and the boys were assigned to grill the steak and ribs.
By 6pm, we were having dinner already to catch the 8pm mass. Reg came to join us and we also invited Tito Eleng's family over for a quick dinner. The table was a real feast. Too much food, I didn't get to taste everything.
Since we've been away for the last 2 holidays and the Reantaso was complete again for the holidays after yearsss, Mama requested us to join them for the Christmas mass. We didn't join my family for the mass at Magallanes and went to the Fatima park instead. After the mass, we went back to Mommy's house for the exchange gifts. We had our family picture taking first without the christmas tree. Mommy did not prepare one at home in Paranaque since we were seldom there.
Of course, we have to have our photo with the Am-boys.
My kids had a blast opening their Christmas presents. They got toys and clothes for gifts.

Fun Ranch

I always wanted to bring my kids to Fun Ranch. We didn't have this playground during our time. But Winter was too small to play by himself and Summer won't have somebody to play with with the bigger play area.

So when I brought the big babies from the US to their lola, I took the chance to treat them to the play area too.
My mistake was bringing them to Toy Kingdom first before bringing them to the play area. They wanted soo much for the time to play to end so they can open their toys and play with it. Haayyy boys!!!!

Merry Lola.

The boys finally met their Lola Yolly.

I accompanied the boys, together with Kuya Dante and Cherry and Summer and Winter, to their Lola at Quezon City. It was their first time to meet.
They met their Lola Lulu too.
It was just nice to make people happy especially on holiday season.

Christmas Party 2010

My kids are growing.

I can remember when we were young when our parents would assign us to sing and dance for our staff. And now it's my turn to assign it to my kids. Time flies really fast.

We held our party pretty late this time for we will be celebrating the holidays here and have to wait for Mom and Dad to fly in from the US.

The kids happily drew the raffle and distributed the prizes. Here's our sexy Santa.
The little boy not included in the raffle prizes.
Thanks everyone for being part of Paradise family. Happy holidays to you and your family. Have a great one!

Our import.

We finally laid eyes on our little barbie doll.
From NY, Molly came to the Philippines for the first time for the holidays.
Andy didn't want to drink on his first night. And next thing he knew, he was surrounded with drinks.
Winter loves Molly.

Too hot.

It's just too hot in Manila, it's giving me the head ache.
Naku, baka mangayayat.

My receptionists.

Kuya Emong and Kuya Usteng are coming!

It's Emong's 3rd and Usteng's 2nd. But their first to be able to remember their visit.

Summer made sure they will remember their first step inside Mommy's house.
And Mommy made sure to document every step, as per Ate's instruction.
Thank you Ate and Kuya Archie.

Line of cars

Winter. He loves lining up his cars.
He's my only boy. He has his ate but his ate never played with cars. I wonder where he learned to play with cars. True blood, Omar's son. Loves cars.

2nd meeting

We had to prepare for our Christmas presentation.

It's December. The instructor is busy. We are busy. The kids had school. But we were able to squeeze it in.
Are we all set? not!

I'm still the queen.

My little boy.

He'd rather face the wall than drink his cup of milk. And he even faced the wall without me telling him to.
But I'm the boss. He had no choice. He had to finish his cup of milk first and so he did.
Then and only then can he go to his dairy queen for his final doze of milk. And that's me, his dairy queen.

Tax.

My mom used to bring me with her every time she pay property tax at Paranaque until I took over the assignment of settling the taxes on or before December 15 to avail of the 20% discount.

This time, I brought Winter with me. We started early so there was shorter line. Do you think it's about time he learn how to do it? But I think it's best that he learns how to talk first =).
It's always better to start early.

Poor girl.

We sleep late on Sunday nights since we come from my inlaws. I'm not surprised that Summer sleeps in the afternoon as soon as she finish her lunch from school.

But I did not expect her to sleep on our way to her school.
She'll catch up on her sleep soon.

My pretty princess.

A day after Summer got her pasalubong from Tita Sexy from the US, she wore her crown while having breakfast.
She looks pretty here. I'm a stage mom.

1st meeting.

In preparation for our Christmas presentation for the family's Christmas reunion, we asked Glenn for help. The prize for the winner for the Christmas presentation is Php 10,000.00.

We planned on singing Heto acapella style if our voice will permit. We are expecting that there will be a dance and song number and we just wanted to be different.
Looks like we will be needing a music background to cover the glitches of our singing voice hehehe.

Perfect gift.

My babies love playing together.

Summer will pretend to cook and serve while Winter will be her customer. Sometimes, Summer will cook, Winter will serve and I will be their customer.

Watching them play gave me an idea of the perfect gift for Summer. If you will look closely at the picture, they use cars for food and crayons for french fries. I saw this wooden toys - a chest of fastfood set. They would surely love serving look alike food.
Can't wait to see their eyes open bigger when they see my gift for them this Christmas. Excited!

Loves cars.

This is one way of Winter to show his love for cars.
He wants to sleep with them. He is just pretending here actually.

Love carsssss.

Omar and I went to Divisoria to buy some Christmas gifts. I went to buy loots for Usteng's and Emong's upcoming birthday celebration for next month too.

I bought Winter a set of cars. He loved it sooo much he wanted to sleep with them. He arranged them in a way that they sleep next to each other.
Don't be deceived with the photo. He was just pretending to be sleeping there. Smart boy.

Play time.

The little boy loves playing with the magnets on the ref. He used to do that too with Mommy's ref.
Boys are really playful. It's just so surprising that I never saw Summer seat quietly like Winter while playing when she was still a baby.

Bonifacio day

In our line of work, the more the holidays, the more we have to work. But not this time for people are not bound our way, but to Divisoria for christmas shopping.

Kuya then invited us over for dinner for barbecue.
Omar and I brought ribs and a few slices of salmon.
Kuya had sausages, salad and soup.
When will it happen again?

Lola's birthday on Lolo's deathday

Good thing I bought food on Lola's bday, as per Mommy's instruction. Her birthday was celebrated 2 weeks after, in time for Lolo's death anniversary.

We brought chop suey and cake.
The kids met Lola Iska too who does the best atchara.
I hope we were able to make Lola happy on her day.

Clowning around

I am using a replacement battery charger for my laptop. I just bought it 3months ago and it bogged down on me. Good thing I kept the receipt for the warranty.

Turned out the charger was doing good, it's just the power cord that needs to be replaced.
I was with my babies and we passed by Fun Ranch. We didn't have time to play so we just had their pic taken at the standee outside.

How lucky can you get?

Arts time.

Summer is sooooooooo fond of drawing and writing and everything arts.

One night, Summer got a one-on-one art lesson with Omar. Winter was on a side line watching too.
It's nice to see three heads so close together over a piece of art.

Happy boy.

I was about to leave home to go to Makro when the little boy woke up. Since we will be going back home after Makro, I decided to bring the little boy with me, even still in his pajamas.
The little boy was very happy.

Peeping Winter

On Fridays, I pick up Summer from school on our way to Bulacan. We came in too early and gates were still close but you can hear girls playing inside. Curiosity got into my little boy and found a way to see what's inside.
You can take a peek at the girls while you still look cute doing it but not when you grow up or else you'll be in trouble.

Happy Birthday Lola!

Kuya Dante drove for Lola to the church for her birthday mass.

Mommy prepared the food. Cherry and I brought it to her house. I redeemed a Goldilocks cake from BPI. We had pancit and puto.
Happy birthday Lola!

tsk tsk tsk

My little boy is drinking iced tea from a feeding bottle and he was weaned from the bottle for a year now.
Isn't that too early for a second childhood?
