Day 1 - Club Paradise

Yey! Our family summer outing!

We were able to book for the Php 88.00++ promo of PAL going to Busuanga. We were able to get the Extended Summer Promo of Club Paradise. And a friend of my SIL was able to give us discounted rates for our Seair flight back to Manila.

Our tickets issued says that our flight will be at 6am. When we got to the airport, flight was changed to 8:45am. I should have verified our flight schedule the day before. Summer was so excited to ride the plane that she kept on asking why we cannot board the plane yet. Good thing I brought a drawing pad for her and her DVD player to keep her occupied while waiting.From Busuanga airport, we boarded a jeepney which brought us to the pier for our boat transfer to the resort. We were able to take a glimpse of El Rio Y Mar, a sister-company of Club Paradise, since some guests were on board the same boat with us.At Club Paradise, the staff welcomed us with their welcome song and a welcome drinks. We had our buffet lunch. Our room was so far from the club house.We arranged for our island hopping in the afternoon. We went to see 3 islands but were not totally happy with it. We went back to the resort, went snorkelling, swam at the beach, played with the sand, swam at the pool, had dinner and sang at the videoke.We started the day early and ended it late. Kailangan sulitin hehe.

Happy Birthday Robie!

Robie is Omar's friend's son, who celebrated his 7th birthday party at Makati Sports Club.

We were late but just right in time for kainan hehe.After having our early dinner, nagyaya si Summer to have a face paint. This is the first time na sya ang nagyaya. She saw other kids kasi with glitter tattoos on their face or hands. Syempre, as a stage mom, gusto ko parati sya nagpaparticipate sa mga parties pero ayaw nya. Now lang sya naging interisado. Kaya lang takot sya sa lakas ng sound system kaya ayaw nya maglakad pag nagsasalita ang emcee. So with big tummy and all, I carried her all the way to the other end of the hall just to have her glitter tattoo.
I left her and her Ate Cory in the middle together with the other kids. They watched an animal trick show featuring a pair of dogs and a monkey playing basketball. They also saw an acrobat and a magic show. I still sometimes see Summer hiding her face in her Ate Cory's neck, scared of the flames from the magic show.She doesn't want to approach the stage to claim her lootbag. Takot sya sa mascot ni Buzz Lightyear kahit buhat pa sya ni Omar. But good thing, Omar's friend saw Summer without a loot bag kaya inabot na lang nya hehehe. Akala ko sad na ako kasi walang lootbag baby ko, hehehe mas excited pa nanay kesa sa anak.

A Sunday is not enough.

We started our day early, finished it late, and we're not done yet with our must do's.

Syempre, first activity was the Sunday mass. We attended the 7:30am Mass at the Barasoain Church.

We had breakfast, off to work, then lunch. Yes, the more the weekends, the more the holidays, the more I have to report for work. I am not complaining. You may just wonder why I report for work on a Sunday.

By 1pm, we left for Manila.

We have to buy our gift for the birthday party we will be attending. We tried going to SM North Edsa and Trinoma, but traffic is just everywhere. Parang ang daming sasakyan!!! E ang taas na nga ng gas e. Hanggang parking lang kami ng Trinoma at kailangan na namin mag Exit sa dami ng sasakyan. Pay day weekend kasi, lahat bumibili na for the opening of classes.

Off we went to SM Makati. Dami pa rin tao pero nakabili na kami. We were able to buy a gift at Toy Kingdom. Syempre ang little girl din - I bought her HS Musical Magazine and a toy cellphone. I know she's only 3years old and how can she enjoy her magazine? E sa Good Housekeeping Magazine ko nga lang e, may page lang dun na may picture ng HS Musical e ayaw na nya palipat ang page sa akin, what more a magazine pa na puro sila. Pang-libang din sa kanya yun sa lakad namin. I also bought her her aqua shoes. Gusto pa rin nya HS Musical!!! E ako naman ang magbabayad, kaya ako ang nasunod! I bought her pink minnie mouse aqua shoes.

Then we went to the birthday party, which will be my next post.

After the party, we went to SM Bicutan naman to look for my aqua shoes. Neon colors na kasi ang sa SM Makati, lutang na lutang naman kulay ko dun, ang itim ko pa man din. Ayaw ko naman ng branded, once a year lang naman kami mag beach. Kaso puro pang men's naman ang sa SM Bicutan. Kahit men's na nga lang, wala naman silang small size na kasya sa akin. Haaayyy!!! Naghanap din ako ng mask for Summer para makasilip man lang sya under the sea, wala too late na naman ako, puro school uniforms na ang nakalabas. I was able to buy vcds of HS Musical 1 and 2 for her. Mahal masyado ang DVD for me hehehehe. Puro gasgas na kasi ang mga pirated DVDs nya of HS Musical. Again, in preparation for our lakad since dadalhin namin DVD player nya. Omar was able to buy his board shorts.

We had dinner at my in-laws at Paranaque.

After dinner, we went home. We went home to Bulacan. Yes, when we can just go home at Paranaque, we have to go home at Bulacan since I have to be at Bulacan early the following day. Nag-sorry pa nga ako kay Summer e. Magallanes pa lang, excited na sya kasi she's going home daw. Nagtaka sya bakit di kami nag-left sa France, ayaw daw nya umuwi sa Paradise. Haaayy!!

We got home before 11pm. Have to hit the bed, I have to be early the following day.

Di pa ako nakapag-grocery!!! Walang kakainin si Ate Cory pag-alis namin. Wala din kami babaunin sa lakad namin. Wala pa din ako aqua shoes. Bakit kasi 24hours lang in a day?

Diaper free - totally!

Summer's been potty trained since she turned 2, but only when she's up and awake.

At night, she still have to wear her diaper.

Until I noticed that she wakes up in the morning with a dry diaper for a week already. So I finally took the risk of putting her to sleep without a diaper. It was a success!

Yey! Another thing off the budget list. Kaya lang I just bought a pack of diapers na di pa nabubuksan. Di bale di naman nasisira, kay Winter na lang hehehe.

Tayo na sa Antipolo

We hear mass at Antipolo once a year on a month of May in thanksgiving and in celebration of my parent's wedding anniversary.

We attended the 6am mass. We were late. Ang daming tao! Last day na kasi, weekend pa.Syempre pa, we have to do our shopping after mass. We bought suman, kasoy, and toys for Summer my mom used to buy for me - clay pots and fruits. Next year, I plan to buy the horse made of paper mache for Summer.We were able to find an all you can eat breakfast along Examiner St. They served garlic rice, pandesal, tuyo, scrambled eggs, bacon, longganisa, arroz caldo, champorado, and salted eggs with fruit cocktail for dessert. Ok sana kaya lang they are under staff. Ang tagal magrefill. Kung diner dash lang, matagal na silang game over. Ilang beses ka babalik sa buffet table at babalik sa upuan mo na walang nakukuha.Tapos na summer. Tag-ulan na naman. Another year to prepare for summer next year.

Corner.

After work, inside our bedroom at Bulacan.

Summer: Look Mama! Corner si Storm.

Me: Ha!? Bakit? Ano ginawa ni Storm?

Summer: Kulit sya e.

And from time to time, Summer will look back at Storm and will say, 'Stay there!'

Oh no! Wawa naman Winter pag lumabas baka lumaki sa corner kay Ate Summer.

Oh, and when she draws our family, Summer would draw Papa Omar, Mama Jade, Summer, Ate Cory and Baby!!!! Yes! You read it right! She's included the baby in our family. Sana totohanan na!
