Happy Birthday Lola

 Lola Toyang celebrated her birthday on November 17.  But since it fell on a weekday and most of us are in Manila, we decided to visit her on a Saturday instead.

Summer made a birthday card for Lola.

 We bought a birthday cake for her.

 And brought pancit and chicken.

We gave her a transistor for a gift since her radio just bogged down on her so she can listen to her prayers over the radio.

Another weekend, another party, another birthday celebrant.

We had Papa's kare-kare.

Of course, the birthday celebration cannot go without the drinking session for the boys.
And no weekend with the kids rummaging the room of Ninong Olejoe and Ninong Orland.

3rd year of Winter

Winter is turning 3!

We had our reservation at Greenwich at SM Bicutan on a Sunday to have everybody in the family join us. Jenny is coding on a Monday and Orland's leaving for Singapore so we have to celebrate it early.

We had pizza and pasta. We just love Greenwich's lasagna.
We had Cars for the cake. We wanted Diego but Goldilocks and Red Ribbon was not carrying the theme for Diego so we had Cars instead. Winter loved it just the same.
After dinner, the kids just have to cap the night off with some rides from the lower level.
The kids, yes including Summer, just loves opening gifts. Winter's favorite was from Ninong Dojoe - a fire truck!
Now he keeps on saying, Mama buy battery! Happy birthday Winter!

Happy Birthday Nina!

It's Ninang Jenny's birthday!

We had early dinner at the Kanin Club at UP Techno hub. Daddy's been craving for Kanin club.

She got an Itouch from Mommy.
And she got my kids' kiss and hugs for our family's gift for her. Hehehe it's too hard to buy gift for Nin, will just buy her next time.
At Kanin Club, I must have my crispy halohalo.
My babies loved the glowing balls outside.

Happy Birthday Mommy!

It's Mommy's birthday and she's at Cebu.

Yes, Mommy went to Cebu with Daddy to attend a convention and it fell on her birhtday. They went back on the 10th so we celebrated it with her just the same. Jenny bought ice cream cake.

Then we served afternoon snack to the staff at the coffee shop and Mommy's family came to celebrate it with her too.She brought home native accessories from Cebu for the girls.
While the little boy snobbed Mommy's food buffet, he asked for ice cream and the brat got it.
Happy birthday Mommy! I wish you good health. Please take good care of yourself.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

It's Daddy's birthday! We had lunch, together with his siblings, a day before at Tao Yuan Restaurant at the Resorts World. Yes, it is our third time at Resorts World in a week. Christian, son of Uncle Johnny from Canada, joined us too together with Che, son of Tito Memen.

Of course, we cannot skip their hainanese chicken, that's what they are famous for. Definitely, a must try.
We bought cake from Contis and the waiters served it with a birthday song.

Happy Birthday Summer, again!

It's Summer's birthday and she's 6 years old already!

We invited the family for a quick dinner at KFC at SM Bicutan. Surprisingly, on a weekday, they were full. Good thing, Omar and Kuya Olejoe came in early and reserved 3 tables for us.

We just bought a small cookies and cream cake from Red Ribbon for her to blow. Cookies and cream has become her favorite for the last few days.
When the kids were done eating, they went to ride the animal and motorcycle rides and the merry go round.
Winter was scared at first but we already paid for 4 tickets so I forced him to ride until he enjoyed it.
Summer's favorite part, next to the rides with her cousins, were opening of the gifts. She got her scooter from Nin.

Happy Birthday Gabgab!

The kids had fun at Gabgab's 2nd birthday party at Jollibee.

We came in too early but just enough for the kids to have fun at the play area while waiting for the party to start.

Winter is no longer a baby. He joins the games now and even won twice.
Winter was scared with Jollibee and wasn't able to join Summer for her photo op with Jollibee.
The kids had fun eating and playing with their loots and prizes. Thank you Tito Aga and Tita Jack for inviting us.

Summer never had a birthday celebration at school because school usually ends a week before her birthday. But birthday parties will no longer be allowed in her school with grade school. And last day of school will be exactly on her birthday, moving up day will be on the next day. But the girls will be too busy for their practice so Teacher Trina scheduled me on March 17 lunch time because their practice will be extended until 2pm.

I ordered Red Ribbon chocolate cake with Disney princess design and bought a birthday candle at the bookstore.

We brought Jollibee chicken and spaghetti and small bottles of iced tea.
We were not allowed to stay so Teacher Trina just took the camera from us so she can take pictures for us.

Teacher Trina was kind enough to take pictures of Summer and her friends at the playground while waiting for me to pick her up.
Winter too had fun with the girls even for just a quick one. Summer had fun opening gifts from her classmates.

It's my niece with my cousin's 1st birthday with pirate and fairy costume.

I asked Yang if Julian has pirate costume. She asked her friend and was soo nice to lend us this cute costume.

As for Summer, she used her pink tutu skirt with white stockings and Minnie mouse bride hair band and wings from Jaja. I just bought a set of white top with green shorts from Divisoria. I cannot just buy the top, it has to be the whole set. The top is floral with dashes of silver beads, perfect for the skirt for a fairy costume.
Summer had her face painting. Winter had his tattoo skull on his cheek. And we had our moment at the photo booth.

Happy Birthday Julian!

Julian is turning 9. We had his birthday party at their house in Paranaque.

The kids, as usual, had a blast playing around and messing the house upside down.
Winter sooo wanted to blow the birthday candle that's why Ojay have to cover his mouth just so we can finish the birthday song with the birthday candle light still on.
He soon had his turn after Julian was able to blow his candle.
The birthday boy received a hand me down mac and a tent. They set the tent up and the kids played with it. Here's Winter pretending to sleep inside the tent.
Then it was time for the candy shower. Winter posed for the picture taking and Yang asked everybody to posed as Winter did.
Imagine a box of candies for 5 kids, riot!
