It's one of my days.

While drinking at the park, come midnight, I greeted Tita Daisy and Yang a Happy mother's day. Little did I know that Omar got a gift from me in the car which was just parked behind us.

I got a perfume! Thanks Omar! Without you, I won't be a mom too.

Finally, with Malen

Malen's been coming back and forth to and from Manila and US and I never get to meet her - either I'm out of town, she's out of town, our schedule just can't simply meet.

Malen is a college friend. She's based in the US and comes home to visit her family.

We finally met at Greenbelt for merienda. Too bad Ivy cannot join us. Some even brought their kids with them. We're aging hehehe.

It was nice seeing Malen and my college friends. Hope do it again real soon.

I.am.done.

Took me more than 4hours to fulfill my obligation as a citizen of the republic. Boy was I so glad to read Congratulations! from the PCOS machine.

Mommy, Daddy, Jenny and I went to the church, our polling area, to vote at 7:30am.

We first cued at the grounds of the church leading to the open court, under the sun, where you'll line for your cluster. This was where we waited for hourssss. It was good when they announced a special lane for senior citizens. My mom and dad went ahead with my mom taking with her my hanky. They were done in minutes and went home ahead of us and Jenny and I will just walk our way home.

Omar and his family went to vote at the public school and we were monitoring each other and we have the same situation. Also with his parents done ahead of time as they are senior citizens too.

My in-laws picked up my kids at home so they can have breakfast at their place. On their way to my kids, they dropped by at the church to bring me iced water with 2 glasses, ensaymada with paper napkins, watermelon, and a fan. Aren't they heaven sent?

Until Jenny and I were allowed to enter the covered court to line for our precinct. Actually, our line moved not because people are done voting but people were going home already. We were able to cast our vote but we have to line again to sign our papers from the Comelec.

We were walking, under the sun, on our way home without umbrella. It was really a sacrifice to vote yet fulfilling to see the indelible ink on my finger. We had to take a bath after voting before going to my in-laws for lunch. Omar finished almost the same time that we did.

I was wearing my white top from Mama with yellow ribbon and my yellow watch with yellow ribbon from Omar as my mother's day gift yesterday. Sadly, have to take a bath and discard my outfit for the day. I was wearing green after but I did not go for green, almost did.

We spent the rest of the day at my inlaw's place eating until dinner before we head back to Bulacan.

It's mother's day!

I got flowers from Jenny and Reg.

I got a yellow ribbon watch from the father of my kids.

We gave our moms jewelry boxes and sisters-in-law mini bag tags as keychains with their names.

My new toy.

I've been using my cellphone since Summer started her school days at Playschool International until today, and she's done with her Playschool from Toddler year to Junior year to Seniors year. So I thought it's time to change my unit. I cannot claim a free handset from my server since I am still tied up with their rebate program.

I wanted an Iphone but it's too expensive for me. I'd rather use the money to buy an LCD TV. I've been eyeing Nokia E72 or N97 or N900. But I read bad reviews for N97 and N900 is not yet in the market. I wanted to try a touch screen phone that's why I was hesitant with E72. But I wanted a keypad as well.

So from the car show at the Megamall, on the last day of Samsung's summer sale, I bought my Samsung B7610. It's touchscreen and it has its qwerty keypad.

I just need to explore its feature first. I hope I made the right decision.

New look.

I went with Kuya to Gilmore. He bought Samsung 19" LCD monitor and I bought skin for my laptop!I was originally looking for Minnie Mouse. Meron naman kaya lang baka magmukhang DS laptop ko. Pwede kaya picture ng mga babies ko paprint ko sa skin? Would you have some lead?

I finally braved it and I survived.

I'm Cleared.

To buy muriatic acid, you need to have a permit from PDEA. One of the requirements for the permit is the NBI clearance of the authorized signatory. That's why I need to get my own.

My first attempt was on May 6. I was with Jenjen and Kuya Dante. I was able to get my finger print but I cannot stay long for the payment and photo because Jenjen's starting to get bored and Mommy will be needing the driver - in short, wala dun ang kakilala ni Daddy.

So I came back today. Wala pa ang kakilala ni Daddy. So no choice ako kundi pumila. Andun na rin lang ako, why not try to do it right while waiting. So I went in line, stayed in line for 10minutes, was able to move a little, stayed again for 15minutes, moved a little longer, and waited for 25minutes until Daddy's friend arrived. In 10minutes, I have with me my NBI clearance. Nag-make up pa man din ako para presentable ang picture ko sa clearance kaya lang sobrang init bale wala din at pag-upo ko for picture taking, pinatayo na ako. Ni hindi man lang ako pina-smile! Tapos na pala ako picture-an di ko man lang namalayan. Buti na lang nakasmile ako the entire time I was seated.

No record on file. Wala ako kapangalan! Kung meron man - behaved din sya kasi wala kami record! I'm cleared!

Mom's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!

The night before mother's day, my kids really made me feel that I'm a mom! I was already lying down ready to sleep when I smelled a not so nice scent coming from Winter. Omar wouldn't change his nappy so I had no choice but to get up and change him. So I went back to bed. Then, Summer got up from her bed, went to the wash room, and shouted 'Mom! I'll call you when I'm done na ha!' Why do they have to do it when I'm lying down already and getting ready to sleep? Why can't they do it on day time when they're with their nanny? - answer is - because I'm the mom!

And now, it's my day! It's my mom's day! It's my mom-in-law's day!

We set-up our gifts for Mommy. It deserves a separate post. I can say she's happy!

Omar will be going home with the kids to Paranaque to visit my in-laws. Unfortunately, I cannot join them since I have a wedding to host in the afternoon here at Bulacan. So right after the wedding, I'll be celebrating my day on my own - lounging on the bed, with the aircon on, watching showbiz shows on TV, and surfing the net on my laptop, advertise on blogs, get paid, and more blog marketing. Then more moolah for online shopping! All alone, so quiet, so me time!

Mother's day, I love it!

Happy to be a mom.

One of the many reasons to be happy to be a mom is that I get to celebrate the Mother's Day.

I woke up early the night before so Omar was able to sneak in his bouquet of flowers for me. Kaya lang he placed it at the laundry basket near the waste basket, bigla tuloy ako naawa sa flowers kasi katabi ng spoiled diapers ni Winter.Sarap to wake up in the morning with a bouquet of flowers. Buti na lang I'm a mom hehe. Thank you Omar, Summer and Winter!

With the help from Paeng's PSP, we were able to track the strongest spot of wifi in the area, just in time for the Pacquiao's fight.

At first, it was just the family watching the game.Until we installed the multi-media projector for a bigger view. We did not have the time to install the white screen anymore and made use of the empty wall. We set-up a speaker as well.When I was confident enough that the live streaming will be successful, we started inviting other people to join us. Tita Eli and Tito Boy, the practicumers, and a couple of guests were able to join us.Sulit ang $3.50 ko! The fight did not lag for long, just a couple of times but not enough to skip an important part of the game and a lot enjoyed watching the game.

Kaya lang lugi kasi ang bilis natapos! Ang galing ni Pacquiao!

Tried.

We used to watch Pacquiao's fight through pay-per-view from our cable subscriber but since it began showing at GMA7, our cable subscriber stopped offering it since it was being ran by the other network.

Daddy forwarded me a text message offering free live streaming from PLDT MyDsl. Unfortunately, we are under business connection and it is being offered for residential only.

Until I remembered a recommendation from my e-group. A member suggested logging in at www.justin.tv early that day to be able to see the live streaming. I checked and saw an ad for a no-drop live streaming of the fight leading me to hatton.notlong.com. I checked and was forwarded to www.xmeforums.com. For a donation of $3.50, one can view the live streaming for a day. It was accepting PayPal, so with closed-eyes, fingers-crossed, and a silent prayer hoping that it is not a scam, I paid for it.

It was my first time to use my earnings from this blog. I hope it's worth it. I hope it works. I hope it's not a scam.

Getting started.

I was able to get the starter kit of Bare Escentuals from our trip to Florida last Christmas. I was able to use it on my hosting rakets.
It's so user-friendly and stupid-friendly for somebody like me who knows nothing at all at applying my own make-up. I liked it so much that I started looking for other products and found the eye make-up starting kit. I asked Ate to buy it for me and she sent it to me through Daddy and Mommy.I hope it's as easy as the first kit. I'll use it on Saturday. I hope to apply it right para di ako magmukhang matanda.

The Caterpillars.

We almost look like a caterpillar with our matching shoes from Mom and Dad. I love it so much it deserved a separate post.These are red Chucks for Winter from Ninang Ganda and for Summer and me from Mom and Dad. Sorry, can't take a decent pic with Winter.

More of a new look.

I had my hair rebonded.

I inquired at my e-group if it's safe to have my hair rebonded if I'm still breastfeeding my almost 8month old baby.

A breastfeeding advocate advised that there is nothing wrong with the rebond but it's the scent that's not good for the baby. I was adviced to pump for the first 2 days just so to avoid the baby from smelling my hair. And that's a no-no for me. Winter can drink expressed milk from the bottle but not as much as from me.

I asked my OB and got a go signal.

I asked my pedia and got a go too but have to text the ingredients first to be sure. I texted and got a go.

The salon used Loreal X-tenso and rebonded my hair for 3hours followed with a hair spa to wash off the scent from the rebond.

I now got my hair rebonded and can breastfeed Winter too.

I think mommy won't like it. I like it though.

Got this from my e-group.Parang I wanted to take soooo much courses!!!

I wanted to take computer repair and networking para di na ako tawag ng tawag sa Tech-Support namin.

I wanted Pares-pares toppings with rice din kasi parang ang sarap na racket nito.

Parang ang sarap din ng massage pero di ko naman pwede masahihin sarili ko, parang lugi.

Gusto ko din ng basic baking cakes for kids kaya lang wala naman akong oven.

Cute din dress making para tahian ko na lang ng damit si Summer, pero takaw time yun tsaka malabo na nga mata ko e.

Money changer business kaya? Client ko agad sila Mommy't Daddy hahaha.

Wedding Planning and Coordination kaya? Kaya lang feeling ko dapat papayat muna ako, di yata bagay sa malaki tulad ko. Okay din flower arrangement para makatulong pagaayos ng bulaklak dito.

I did it - my Home made Cheese Pimiento, a recipe from Mama. I prepared the spread for our baon for our very early Stations of the Cross at Divine Mercy tomorrow.

Verdict: Omar loves it! Winter loves it too!

1 - for blanching the veggies separately
2 - for thickening the sauce
3 - for sauteeing the veggies with the sauce

The judge said, 'Di ba dapat mas more on greens than carrots?'

And I said, 'Akala ko kasi mas mahilig mga bata sa carrots kesa sa sitsaro.'

Haha, lusot!

Omar liked it kasi maraming bawang and thick ang sauce, di ordinary ginisang gulay.
