Day 3: Home bound and Sunday mass

All 12 of us fitted well inside the trailer.

We brought tents with us but the boys did not assemble it anymore for it's pretty muddy in the area for it had been raining for the last days.

Nana brought out again the breakfast food she prepared and Omar reheated them in the griller.

Nana was expecting that we will be staying until the following day. But we cannot withstand the heat plus the giant mosquitoes around so we invited her to go home with us instead and eat her food at home.

We heard mass, had lunch at home and Nana went home to rest.

It was a nice experience I wouldn't mind doing it again. We had fun. Thanks Nana!

Trailer camping with Nana and Lolo Doms

It was our first time to go trailer camping and we were a bit excited. It was hot when we got there and you can see campers all around.

The boys helped Lolo Dom set up the shade next to the trailer.

Then when we were done settling down, we went to take a look at the Kirby Beach, not that we have any plans of taking a dip or anything.
The boys, I mean the big boys, had fun with the view - wink wink! It was just sooo hot I have to take off the little boy's clothes.
We went to the city to look for some graham crackers and some knick knacks. It was a cute and small city.

We then headed back home and had a nap - still at jet lag mode. Nana brought lots of food. She prepared everything already and Omar just had to reheat some and grill some for dinner.
The babies had fun helping Nana around - playing, I mean sweeping, with the broom.

Winter had sooo much fun the whole day, he did not take his nap and with jet lag hitting him, dozed off early on Mom's and Dad's bed.

Not used to the sun still up after dinner, we walked around and goofed around. Daddy even played fooseball with the kids.
And we get Mom to walk with us too. We never experienced walking around in the Philippines as a family. We do not even walk around in the Philippines - it's just too hot in our country plus air is not healthy to breathe in the city.
We lit up some bonfire for some smores, just like what we had at Yosemite. Mom bought wafers instead of graham. We looked around for graham in the city but didn't see one.

It was good! Flamed marshmallow melting milk chocolate bars in between wafers, which were supposed to be graham crackers. Yum yum!

A Taste of Weber

We finally got a taste of Dad's much talk about Weber burger. They were so hit that they build they're own overpass so they can accommodate customers from the other side of the highway.

A fire truck welcomed us. Of course, the stage mom in me lit up and my kids and I head straight to the truck not minding our orders and where we will be staying. It was a park for a cause. They give away fire hats to kids and kids can ride the truck to familiarize themselves with the truck and they're asking donations for cancer patients.

Winter just can't stop saying truck!
Oh, we had putin! French fries topped with white cheese and gravy.
And we got to taste what they're famous for, burgers!
We get to enjoy it outdoors with a very nice weather.
The kids had ice cream too to share with everybody and this was my favorite among the four flavors they got - I think it was white paw?
It was a nice park, all clean and green. We were blessed with a good weather. Lots of nice people walking around with their nice dogs.
I like it! I'm having fun. Kids are having fun! Everybody's having fun.
Too bad I wasn't able to ask for the apron, they were selling Weber apron, perfect for Kuya's Weber griller.

Day 2: Trailer Camping

Nana invited us for a weekend at their trailer at Muskoka. We packed our bags and prepared the kids. It'll be our first to go trailer camping and we were so excited.

It was a Victoria weekend and everybody were going out. There was heavy traffic from Nana's place and they'll be late so we walked around while waiting. There's a school next block from our house and so we walked there and brought the kids.
It's spring time and the flowers from the neighbors are enough for us to have a picture taking.
Next post will be our Weber experience and our first day at Muskoka.

Day 1: Cosco

First stop was to go grocery shopping for our entire stay. Nana filled up our freezer but we still have to purchase some for our cravings.

Here are my boys waiting for everybody to get ready shopping.

I so love going to Cosco that I forgot to take photos and I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to take photos inside. I love the grannies giving free food taste.

Who wouldn't love Cosco?

Touched down at Toronto.

Going through the immigration and custom was such a breeze, thank God to my little boy in Superman =).

Kuya Ian, Harry and Harold picked us up at the airport. We were 2vans, with 10passengers aside from the fetchers, and with all our luggagesssssss.

Nana sent food at home for our dinner and Tito Gener prepared some too. We just love the fresh mushroom soup. We had salmon, ribs and sausage to welcome us back to Canada.

As expected, this trip will be food fest and kids will be feasting over soda. And here's the proof, a photo of kids sharing Canada Dry.I love it here.

Less than half way at Tao Yuan

It was a short trip of 4hours from Manila to Taiwan. But it will be another 4hours of wait at the airport for our connecting flight to Toronto. But the kids always enjoy walking and playing around the airport.

After going through security checks for our connecting flight, we settled in their wifi zone area. Kuya got his laptop, the boys got their Itouch, we got our chinese ipad hehehe, better known as apad.

Jenny, having her EvaAir as one of her clients, got invited in their lounge with Mom and Dad. No lounge can accommodate Dad's cards so we just settled at the wifi zone area. Jenny sneaked out some milk tea in tetra packs for us. They did not stay long at the lounge, they just had some snacks and went out to join us.
Kuya and my family, on the other hand, sooo looked forward to having Taiwanese noodles, just as we usually do in our previous trips with EvaAir.
Summer and Winter loved playing at the Hello Kitty playground. It was heaven sent, helping me entertain kids for the next few hours. My Winter boy is big already, he can go up and down the playground by himself already.
We walked around and Winter just have to stand next to this sculpture for a photo op.
4hours wait was not that bad after all. Hope the kids are tired enough to sleep in our next flight to Toronto.
