A trip to the ER

Finally decided to bring the kids to the ER after Summer reached 41 and Winter got the fever too.

Just have to get theirblood test to rule out dengue.

They just doesn't look like they're running 39. Not a tear after the blood test.

Fun Day

As promised, Summer will attend the Fun Day at McDonalds. But not with me, but with Ate Cory and Winter.

We were just right on time for their art workshop when we got there.
I just left the camera with Ate Cory so she can take photos of the kids. Summer saw all the mascots of McDonalds.
While Winter was so scared to come close to the characters.
They went home happily with toys from McDonalds.

Kids' turn.

As promised, after the stations of the cross and visita iglesia, they can have their dip on the pool. I prayed for the sun to spare my kids from burning their skin. They were not spared. They had fun anyway.

Nin gave Winter this car life saver. He's been playing with it the whole night, running around the house in it with matching helmet and goggles - Disney pixar's UP style.
Summer's too big for lifesavers anymore and just kept on jumping on to the pool.

Band night.

Summer would sooo look forward to Friday and Saturday nights where they can go with us to the park to listen to some band while she plays around with her friends - Noynoy and Justin while eating barbecue.

Tonight, Kuya Biboy drove them around in the pedicab.

And when the songs being played get too old for them to enjoy, the babies will play with their DS.

It was a full night. Mom and Dad will be glad.

As promised.

As promised, have to bring the kids back to the dentist. Only for Summer but have to bring Winter just to familiarize him with the dentist. And this time, he went straight to the chair and was served first before his Ate.

Summer had her additional procedures and have to be back in a month. Good job kids!

Finally, a visit to the dentist.

I was pretty scared to bring my kids to the dentist. I'm a guilty mom for Winter's teeth.

Summer went in first and Winter was so curious he was over Summer while Summer was having her turn until he lied down next to his Ate Summer.

The dentist instructed Cory to properly clean Winter's teeth. He knew that I work and I do not stay home with the kids.

We'll just have to properly clean Winter's teeth and no procedure is needed. We'll just have to wait for 5 more years for replacement and to never take the remaining part of the teeth off. As for Summer, will have to be back on Monday.

Kite.

Nin gave Julian a kite for his birthday. I was envious for I've never flown a kite in my entire life.

And while Nin was tutoring Summer for math, she promised Summer that she'll get her a kite just as long as she will study hard.

We had our travel mart at SM Marilao. I bought Summer's invitation cards for her classmates for her 6th birthday lunch at school, saw the kite and bought it, not just for the kids but for myself too.

We tried it in the afternoon but unfortunately, there wasn't enough wind. I thought it was easy. You just cannot see it from the picture but it was the guard actually who was maneuvering the kite for Summer.

Winter got scared when he saw the kite fly by itself and ran to my side.
Until Paeng joined us and took over. He was able to learn how to fly it during their PE class at school during Linggo ng Wika. Why didn't we ever had that?
Noynoy and Justin joined us too.
And since there were no wind, they just settled playing at the swing instead.
Maybe we'll just bring the kite at Tagaytay tomorrow instead. Haayyyy....

More parties.

It's my niece with my cousin's 1st birthday with pirate and fairy costume.

I asked Yang if Julian has pirate costume. She asked her friend and was soo nice to lend us this cute costume.

As for Summer, she used her pink tutu skirt with white stockings and Minnie mouse bride hair band and wings from Jaja. I just bought a set of white top with green shorts from Divisoria. I cannot just buy the top, it has to be the whole set. The top is floral with dashes of silver beads, perfect for the skirt for a fairy costume.
Summer had her face painting. Winter had his tattoo skull on his cheek. And we had our moment at the photo booth.

Finally.

There are days when Winter will spend the day at the shop, usually on Fridays.

There are days when Benedict will spend the day at the shop, usually on Saturdays or days of wellness check-up with his doctor.

Now, they finally spent the days at the shop together.

The boys are 2weeks apart, with Winter 2weeks older. Yes, Benedict is younger and he is bigger. Liit ni litol boy ko, likot kasi e, kulit kasi e. We're joking that they will be drinking buddies when they grow up.

No complains as long as he's healthy. Mama's happy, Winter's happy.

Tertiary Exam

It's tertiary exams again.

Time when I vocalize at night time and teach our neighbors math and filipino.

And the boy just watches the tv by himself, knowing that he is not allowed to invite his ate to watch with him.
It's better to start early for next week's exam what with a busy weekend of parties. God help us.

Perfect gift.

My babies love playing together.

Summer will pretend to cook and serve while Winter will be her customer. Sometimes, Summer will cook, Winter will serve and I will be their customer.

Watching them play gave me an idea of the perfect gift for Summer. If you will look closely at the picture, they use cars for food and crayons for french fries. I saw this wooden toys - a chest of fastfood set. They would surely love serving look alike food.

Can't wait to see their eyes open bigger when they see my gift for them this Christmas. Excited!

Clowning around

I am using a replacement battery charger for my laptop. I just bought it 3months ago and it bogged down on me. Good thing I kept the receipt for the warranty.

Turned out the charger was doing good, it's just the power cord that needs to be replaced.

I was with my babies and we passed by Fun Ranch. We didn't have time to play so we just had their pic taken at the standee outside.

How lucky can you get?

Costume hang-over

Either my kids are bored and they're frustrated they didn't get the chance to don on a costume to go trick or treating.

Summer started it all. As expected, Winter wanted to be like his Ate. He was so frustrated he couldn't come out with his own costume that I helped him already before he gets his tantrum attack.

They sure had fun playing around while I had fun taking their photos. Everybody happy =).

Reantaso side.

Off to Manila for another cemetery, at Reantaso side this time. Have to pack pillow and blanket for the kids. We haven't even left Bulacan and they're playing in the car already.

Lola packed some goodies for the kids for trick or treat.
At least they got a taste of Halloween for kids too. Thanks Lola Olive.

Art

The kids got a pad of tattoo from Ysha's birthday party and we put it into use.

Winter would want to take it off right after and replace it with a new one hehehe.

We love.

On weekends, Omar will buy us ice cream from Dairy Queen until we discovered Selecta and our favorite flavor is Coffee Crumble, it's even cheaper.

See... Winter is where Ate Summer is.

Sharing

Both kids are down with colds, phlegm and cough. Nebulizer is a must so they both do it at the same time. Easier to get Winter use the nebulizer.

Hope it works.

Winter will follow after Summer.

Winter will always stick to his Ate Summer. Winter goes where Ate Summer is. Winter will eat what Ate Summer eats.

If Ate Summer sleeps, Winter will lie down next to his Ate Summer to sleep even if he just woke up.
At least maputi ang shadow ni Summer hehehe.

Winter's share.

Summer bought books of masks at the play - one for Halloween masks and the other animal masks. It's just nice that she immediately thought of Winter upon seeing the books. She won't let me buy just one for herself but another one for her brother too.

The mask sure fits Winter.
