Family Picture 2008

I try to send our family photos to families and relatives abroad during the holidays.  We often have our picture taking after Omar's birthday to give me ample time to do the cards and send them.

This year, Ojay set up a studio in my inlaw's house and we had our family pictorial.

We had ours in green and red outfit.
The family is surely growing.
Ojay had a hard time taking photos since we had lots of kids.  They are just everywhere plus the stage moms did not help at all.

I will post our final copies as soon as I get my copy.

Happy Birthday Tito Domeng!

It's Pacquiao-Dela Hoya fight and we attended a surprise birthday lunch of our uncle.

The party was held at The Cabanas.  Before lunch was served, you can see all the guys inside their cars listening to the fight.  Lunch was served after.
The family gave the birthday celebrant a car.  Bongga!
Bibingka and puto bumbong were served before the lunch.  We feasted over the chocolate fountain even before lunch hehe.
A lot of Tito Domeng's relatives gave song numbers and they were really good.  I wonder what happened to me, I'm a Robles too, you know?  I must be deeply sleeping when God threw graces of singing talents.
Happy birthday Tito Domeng!  We wish you more birthdays to come.

Lizarondo-Loreto

The groom, Rex, is my cousin from my mom's side.

Daddy is one of the principal sponsors. But since he is out of the country, Kuya Dojoe represented him.Summer was the smallest among the 5 flower girls. She loves her dress, her shoes, her hairband, her flowers, everything! And she walked gracefully! I asked her who taught her to hold her dress, and she said 'me lang!' Ang arte! She loves having her photo taken. There was a time when a photographer was taking a shot of the flower girls and she happened to seat farthest from the camera, so she stood up and moved to the seat closest to the camera. And at the end of the wedding rites when all the relatives of the bride were being called to join for the pictorial, she joined them too and refused to leave. Ang kapal ng mukha hehehe.I was the host for the reception and had fun doing it. Cousin Jon serenaded the couple and the guests with a few song numbers. Summer had fun playing with her cousins. Winter joined us at the reception.I am a stage mom not only for Summer but for Winter as well.

Macy's 18th

Macy is Omar's youngest cousin. She had her debut at Palazio de Manila and MTV was her theme.Everybody was invited to dress fashionably. I wore a black kimono blouse over a pair of tights. Hay naku, ayaw ni Omar magpa-picture sa red carpet. I had my photo taken with Yang and Onnie kaya ayun ang taba taba ko na naman, mapagitnaan ba naman ng 2 sexy kaya di ko na ipopost ang pic hehe.Dinner was superb, catered by Little Quiapo.

Macy, coming from a talented family, the party was like a concert. Almost all the family members gave a song number and one even gave a dance number along with their friends from their ballet school. They gave Macy awards instead of roses.Omar and I didn't finish the party. I would love to stay until the end for they prepared something Summer would surely love - a Highschool musical number. But since, we did not bring the kids with us, we cannot afford to stay late.

P.S. Oh, and I had my hair cut para bagong blow dry pag dating sa party ;).

December Check-up

As usual, Ate Summer's been crying from the shop to the hospital and from the car to the clinic.

The doctor was an hour and a half late due to heavy traffic, coming from Tondo Hospital, what do you expect on a Christmas season?

Winter gained 0.1kg only for 2weeks while Summer gained 0.5kg. After a month of no weight gain for Summer, I was so happy with her improvement. Her chest X-ray results are good - everything is clear and normal. We haven't had her tuberculine test yet.

Winter got his oral vaccine and Summer did not get any this time. She kept on telling everybody that she's not sick anymore.

All's well and fit to travel! Yipee!

My little lady

Summer played dress with her Ninang Onnie. She wore her Ninang's gown, stood on a stool, and posed like a model.
She's like a Maria Clara on stilt.

Company Christmas Party

The company's Christmas Party was held on the first day of the Christmas month. And it's Winter's first Christmas Party.

We started it with a Thanksgiving Mass led by Mons Flint, accompanied with the RCM Sisters for the choir.Kuya officially opened the party.

Dinner was served buffet by department. We had a simple dinner. The company's first lady is out of town, that's why. We had stuffed egg, ox tongue with fetuccini noodles, lumpiang ubod, chicken caldereta and buco salad.

We had raffle prizes from the company and from suppliers. We played 2 games - hep hep horay game from Wowowee played by the senior citizens and banana cream eating contest.
A staff gave a dance number and invited others to join him. A lot joined him and it was fun.

We also had our traditional exchange gifts. Omar got a stuffed toy, I got a set of pajamas, and Summer got lots of coloring books and crayons. It was Summer's first to join the exchange gifts and since then, she kept on announcing how she loves Christmas parties.
Looks like Winter had fun with his first Christmas party.
