Less than half way at Tao Yuan

It was a short trip of 4hours from Manila to Taiwan. But it will be another 4hours of wait at the airport for our connecting flight to Toronto. But the kids always enjoy walking and playing around the airport.

After going through security checks for our connecting flight, we settled in their wifi zone area. Kuya got his laptop, the boys got their Itouch, we got our chinese ipad hehehe, better known as apad.

Jenny, having her EvaAir as one of her clients, got invited in their lounge with Mom and Dad. No lounge can accommodate Dad's cards so we just settled at the wifi zone area. Jenny sneaked out some milk tea in tetra packs for us. They did not stay long at the lounge, they just had some snacks and went out to join us.
Kuya and my family, on the other hand, sooo looked forward to having Taiwanese noodles, just as we usually do in our previous trips with EvaAir.
Summer and Winter loved playing at the Hello Kitty playground. It was heaven sent, helping me entertain kids for the next few hours. My Winter boy is big already, he can go up and down the playground by himself already.
We walked around and Winter just have to stand next to this sculpture for a photo op.
4hours wait was not that bad after all. Hope the kids are tired enough to sleep in our next flight to Toronto.

Manila-Toronto

Woohoo!

I love travelling! I love airports! I start packing stuff in my mind whenever I hear travel plans. I'm so confident travelling with my kids for I know they're as excited as me and they won't let me down.

We're flying EvaAir to Toronto. We are 10passengers in our group. Before proceeding to the gate, Mom, Jenny, Omar and Kuya's boys went to look for something to eat. I wasn't hungry much and if I move around, I will have to lug around my kids with me so I'd rather stay put. Dad, on the other hand, looked around for lounges who can accommodate his credit cards. And alas! He came back calling me and Kuya to join him.

The kids had fun watching TV while waiting. No need for me to bring out all my props for them. Winter was so at home, he even took off his shoes and socks =).

Kuya and Daddy started feasting on free snacks. I then called Omar and he regretted joining Mom. So Mom followed and she can only sneak in 1 person, which is Jenny, for she did not bring her local cards anymore.
Too bad Omar wasn't able to join us inside to enjoy the lounge.

Practice lang.

I've enrolled Winter at Playschool International for Toddlers Class to help him increase his vocabulary =). For his age, he still has limited vocabulary, which is common among boys.

Good thing we were able to save Ate Summer's uniform shirts from Playschool. I was able to save a few bucks.

Summer lasted in it for 3years, I'm not quite sure with Winter. The boy is pretty excited with his new shirt.

The fight.

The family is a big fan of Pacquiao so we always get pay-per-view during his fights. We had it before in my parent's master's bedroom until we moved into our function hall to share it with other guests. We do not announce it days before, just inviting guests on the day itself.

Omar's family - the Reantasos, started watching it with us too. Until Mom and Dad invited their friends over too.

It sure is nice to watch the fight with lots of people, specially when Pacquiao's winning, which he usually does. Another moment to be a proud Filipino.

While drinking at the park, come midnight, I greeted Tita Daisy and Yang a Happy mother's day. Little did I know that Omar got a gift from me in the car which was just parked behind us.

I got a perfume! Thanks Omar! Without you, I won't be a mom too.

Guests from Virginia

On our second visit to Canada as a family - me, Omar and Summer, we took a side trip to the US. We stayed for 3days in California and 3days in Virginia. We stayed with my Ninang Lynda in California while we stayed with Omar's Tito Jojo in Virginia.

Now, it's time to welcome them back in the Philippines for a very short vacation. Papa's family came to welcome them too. Since Tita Daisy's family is from Pandi, it is but convenient to meet them at Malolos. We prepared lunch for them.

We offered them an overnight stay at the hotel, so the Reantasos stayed as well too.
Good thing it was a weekend night so we had band playing at the park while the guests from Virginia savored the San Mig drinks.
It was a short visit but we were glad to take off some things from Tito Jojo's wish list for his visit in the Philippines.

January, March, April then June

Those are the months when we need to renew our car registrations.

I only have a car, Omar has lots. I register our car with our funds. Omar registers his cars with his own funds hehehe. Along with it are the car insurance.
